Delete your account

Last updated: 18 October 2026

How

  • On the website: sign in, open Profile, scroll to Delete account at the bottom, type your password and confirm.
  • In the Android app (ZeroLogs): open Menu → Profile → Delete account. The app forgets its sign-in on the phone at the same time.
  • Signed in only by magic link? Reset your password first, then delete the account as above.
  • Cannot sign in at all? Write to us through the contact form from the email address of the account. We confirm it is yours and delete it within 30 days.

Deleted at once

In one step, when you confirm:

  • your account, profile and preferences;
  • every log file you uploaded, the file itself and everything read from it;
  • your bikes, batteries, service records and photos;
  • rides, charges and trips, their routes, trip notes and photos, and the recordings from your phone;
  • shared links and your public rider page — they stop working immediately;
  • the phones paired to the account, their keys and devices, and the readings they sent;
  • AI analyses and assistant conversations.

Logs that another account uploaded for a bike you owned stay with that account: they are theirs. Newsletters already sent to you keep their open and click counts, without your address; one still being sent is cancelled for you.

Delete some data, keep the account

Signed in, on the website or in the app:

  • A log file and everything read from it: Files → the bin next to the file.
  • A bike: open the bike → Delete bike. The dialog lists what goes with it before you confirm.
  • A trip photo: open the trip → the photo → Delete photo.
  • A shared link: Shares → Revoke. The link stops working at once.
  • Your public rider page: Profile → switch the public page off.

What you delete this way is gone at once; the backups below keep their copies until they expire. For anything else, ask through the contact form and we delete it within 30 days.

What backups keep

Copies of the database and files made before the deletion remain in our encrypted backups until those backups expire:

  • daily copies on the server: 14 days;
  • encrypted off-site copies: daily for 30 days, weekly for 12 weeks, monthly for 24 months;
  • an encrypted monthly archive, kept 10 years, that cannot be altered or deleted before then.

Backups are used only to recover the service after a disaster. If one is ever restored, the accounts deleted since it was made are deleted again before the service reopens.
